Veterinary Diagnostics:

Why VPG?

Today, VPG is a trusted partner to over 2,000 veterinary professionals across the UK & Ireland:

  • We provide a meticulous personalised service, with direct access to our laboratory experts for case continuity to assist you in providing the best care for your patients.
  • Our diagnostic support covers all aspects of clinical and surgical pathology for small, equine and exotic animals.
  • We offer a courier service to a wide range of areas across the UK & Ireland.
  • Our PATHPORT and EASILAB portal allows you to efficiently view prices, submit samples, request additional tests, check order status and view past and current results with ease.
  • Our Resident Academy founded in 2018, educates veterinary pathologists to the highest standards available. This is a liberal 4 year residency geared to the American College of Veterinary Pathology board examinations, which ensures that we are always challenging the boundaries of our subject.
  • We have moved some of our laboratories to new purpose built sites ultimately providing substantially more space for innovation, our growing team and allow us to expand our customer base, while continuing to provide responsiveness and accuracy to the veterinary community.
  • Our new facilities have also made room for a new Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) research facility in Exeter, which includes molecular diagnosis and monitoring of canine lymphoma.
  • As part of the SYNLAB Group, we enjoy the advantages of being part of the leading medical diagnostic services provider in Europe. Being part of the SYNLAB Group also means we are not annexed to the corporate owners of veterinary practices and so we act independently across the veterinary profession in the UK and Europe.

We have had a longstanding relationship with the Veterinary Pathology Group who have consistently supported us with an outstanding and responsive Diagnostic Pathology Service. VPG has played a very significant part in our development as a leading Veterinary Referral Centre in the UK
